Target Audience for WAN Services:

 

Wide Area Networks (WANs) are always on the move. Especially due to the convergence of fixed and mobile networks on one hand and the migration of time division multiplexing (TDM) systems to Voice over IP on the other hand employees are always under pressure. They often have the necessary trainings for specific WAN services and elements. General knowledge about different WAN technologies like Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH), Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM), Passive Optical Networks (PON) or Carrier Ethernet with their respective characteristics and their ability to meet specific customer requirements would be necessary:

  • Cross-departmental, service independent basic knowledge e.g. for customer consultants, sales persons or solution designers will be required in the future much more.

  • To recognize, understand and define customer demands and understand frameworks comprehensive knowledge about communications services and service providers is required
